About Me

About Me

I have an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children, Adolescents and Families from the University of Roehampton. This means I have been trained to use a variety of approaches to best meet the needs of my clients. These include, attachment, psychodynamic, humanistic, and systemic theories, as well as neurobiological processes, and child and adolescent development.

I work with children and adolescents who are experiencing difficulties. I offer them a calm, confidential and safe place to explore what may be troubling them or causing them to worry. I can support them to make sense of their experiences and feelings through talking, creativity and play.

I have 15 years’ experience of working in schools and Children’s Services. Therefore, I have extensive knowledge and understanding of the education system, CAMHS, iSEND Services and the social care system (including Child Protection proceedings). I also have experience of working with children using English as an additional language.

I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follow their code of ethics. I also attend regular supervision to ensure I best meet the needs of my clients. I have an up-to-date enhanced DBS (Disclosures and Barring Service) certificate.
